Charlotte Joselit is a doctoral extern completing her advanced therapy practicum at Rooted Connections as part of a Psy.D. program she is enrolled in through Adler University. Prior to Adler University, she majored in psychology at the University of Illinois. Charlotte has experience providing psychological services to adults, children, and adolescents. In the past, Charlotte has completed clinical work in both community and school settings. She also has experience in both diagnostic assessment and therapeutic work. She has experience working with a variety of mental health concerns including but not limited to anxiety, depression, adjustment difficulties, life transitions, trauma, stress, and ADHD.
Charlotte is passionate about creating a safe space for clients, establishing a supportive therapeutic relationship, and empowering clients to reach their goals. Charlotte utilizes an individualized approach to treatment and integrates various theoretical orientations into her work based on what will be most helpful for clients. She uses a relational style in her therapeutic work and thinks about clients holistically, taking into account all of the internal and external systemic factors that may have an influence on clients and their treatment progress.
Outside of psychology, Charlotte has interests in various forms of art and dance. She also enjoys spending time outside and doing things like exploring nature or going to the beach when the weather is nice.
