Gabrielle earned her master’s degree in Applied Clinical Psychology from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She has past experience working with children and adolescents with severe emotional, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders in individual and group settings. In tandem, she provided psychoeducation to caregivers. She has also worked with children with autism spectrum disorder, in a variety of settings including home and classroom. She has worked collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, speech-language pathologists, and occupational therapists to provide her clients with the best possible care.
Gabrielle believes in approaching clients with warmth, cultural humility, and using a diverse mix of humanistic, cognitive, and psychodynamic approaches to meet clients where they are, tailoring sessions to their developmental needs and goals. Gabrielle is comfortable incorporating aspects of social justice within her counseling interventions, particularly when working with BIPOC and LGBT+ populations. She strives to help young people build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful connections both in and outside of the therapy space.
