Zach earned his Master of Arts (M.A.) in Clinical Psychology from Adler University and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He received his B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University and previously attended St. Lawrence University, where he was a member of the men’s basketball team. Through his clinical training at Light on Anxiety, Zach gained experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a private practice setting. His training has included supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma-related disorders, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and challenges related to impulsivity across the lifespan
Zach values working collaboratively with parents, caregivers, and other important members of a child or adolescent’s support system. He believes that meaningful growth often happens both inside and outside of therapy and recognizes the important role families play in supporting that process. Throughout his clinical training, Zach has worked closely with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams to better understand each child and adolescent’s unique strengths and challenges. He is committed to creating a supportive environment where children and adolescents feel understood and where caregivers feel empowered to help their child succeed across home, school, and community settings.
Zach’s therapeutic approach is grounded in warmth, authenticity, and a deep commitment to getting to know each client as an individual. He believes that effective therapy begins with a strong, trusting relationship and values creating a space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. Zach tailors his interventions to fit each person’s unique background, goals, and needs, drawing from evidence-based practices while honoring the individuality of each client. His work is guided by a genuine curiosity and respect for the lived experiences of those he supports.
