Zoë is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work at the University of Chicago Crown Family School of Social Work, Policy, and Practice where she focuses on youth development, educational equity, and trauma-informed care. She earned her B.S. in Human Development, with a minor in Psychology from Howard University. Zoë has worked with youth across various community, school, and nonprofit settings in Chicago, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles.
With years of experience in youth development, Zoë has facilitated social-emotional learning activities, led trauma-informed interventions, and supported children and adolescents experiencing homelessness, behavioral challenges, and systemic inequality. Her clinical interests include trauma recovery, identity development, girl empowerment, and mental wellness in underserved communities. She is deeply committed to cultivating affirming environments where youth can thrive.
Zoë takes a strengths-based, relational, and culturally responsive approach in her work with youth and believes that authenticity, creativity, and collaboration are powerful tools for connection and healing. She is passionate about creating spaces where young people feel affirmed, heard, and supported in their growth.
Outside of her professional work, Zoë is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, where she contributes to initiatives rooted in service and sisterhood. In her free time, she enjoys exploring new restaurants, reading, and spending time with her two cats!
